Zelma Lloyd Tremonton: Zelma Kay Lloyd, 83, died March 6, 2003, at the Ogden Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born to Lorenzo Kay and Marth LaVina Kay on June 8, 1919, in Elwood, Utah. She was the fifth child a family of five. She received her education at McKinley School and Bear River High School. On October 4, 1937, she married Lawrence W. Lloyd in South Jordan. Their marriage was solemnized on September 12, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple. The have made their home in East Tremonton since 1938. He died September 22, 2002. She was employed at Cowley and Falks Department Store in Tremonton. Shemade a fun and loving home for her family and friends along with being an excellent cook and seamstress. She was a member of the Riverview Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed her many church callings, especially serving in the Logan LDS temple with her husband. She is survived by her children, Dee Lou Brent Riser, Tremonton; David Glenda Lloyd, Tremonton; Susan Cleve Steed, Plymouth; daughter-in-law, Karen Shaw Lloyd, Sycracuse; brother-in-law, Harold Edith Lloyd, St. George; 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her son, Steven Lloyd; grandson, Norman David; granddaughter, Lori Stokes; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at the Deweyville/Riverview LDS Ward Chapel, 10750 North Highway 38. Friends may call Monday, March 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Tuesday, March 11th from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. The family wishes to than Henry and Gayle Spackman for all the loving care they showed to mom.
