ZELLA DELILAH HARRIS Ogden ? Zella Delilah Harris, 84, of Ogden, died Saturday. March 16, 2002, at the McKay Dee Medical Center in Ogden. She was born May 24, 1917, in Bear River City, Utah, the daughter of Aaron Erastus and Sarah Elvira Olsen Christensen. She married Alma Martin Harris on July 16, 1937, in Brigham City. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on December 7. 1967. Alma died September 16, 1996. Zella was reared in Bear River City, graduated from Bear River High School. She moved to Garland with her husband to run their family farm. Later moving to Clearfield, UT. Then to Ogden for the past several years. She is survived by three sons, George A. Delta Harris; Wayne N. Harris all of Ogden, UT and Dean Marilyn Harris of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Janet Phillip Eller of White River Jct., VT, Christine Gilbert Casey of Redding, CA, and Maxine Harris Garner of Ogden, UT; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son Merrill Alma Harris, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 21, 2002, at the Ogden LDS 62nd Ward Chapel, 300 Gramercy Avenue, Ogden. Bishop Robertson will be officiating. Friends may call prior to services, Thursday, March 21st from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home.
