Wylene Millett DuRee

Wylene Millett DuRee, 75 died Monday May 9, 2011 at home in Logan Utah. Wylene was born Febuary 10, 1936 to Perry Edward Millett and Rea Audry Williams in Phoenix, Arizona. She married James Bleak on May 8, 1953 in Tempe Arizona. They had four children, Janice John Simmons - Logan Utah, John, Evelyn Wade Reed- Dublin California, J. Allen Carrie – Manteca California.
On July 28, 1976 she Married William Albert DuRee in Reno Nevada. The were Sealed in the Manti Temple in 1979. She and Bill settled in Salem Oregon and she became an excellent Step Mother of six children, A. Dale Connie – Post Falls Idaho, Jennene Ronald Lea – San Jose California, Paul Janae Logan Utah, Donald – Manteca California, Ellen Conan Crosby – Salem Oregon, Jerry – San Jose California. They Later adopted Jerry's son Daniel.
Wylene was an active member of the LDS church, and held many callings. Family was always her first priority and love. In addition to her children and grand children, She also cared for her mother for many years. She love to attend the temple. She could bring a smile to anyone's face with her charming humor. She loved and was loved by her children, her 34 grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, her sons – John, Donald, and Jerry, daughter Jennene, grandson Daniel, and her sister Barbara.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Logan Stake Center, 940 West Threepoint Avenue, Logan Utah with a viewing prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
