Winston Jay Biddle, 84, passed away at his daughter's residence in Grants Pass, OR. He was born July 14, 1921 to Clarence Reginal and Melva Isabella Hancey Biddle in Hyde Park, Utah. He married Juanita Mae Anglesey May 4, 1956 in Collinston, Utah. She passed away July 21, 1986. He served honorably in the 713th Tank Battalion in the United States Army from 1942-1946 during WWII, Korean War and in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Eagle's Lodge #FOE 3372. He was a volunteer for the Guide Dog's of Utah.
Winston is survived by his sister: Maurine Goss; his brother: Sidney Biddle; his sister-in-law: Lois Biddle; his children: Lin Rich Vannest, Robert Edward Biddle, Lorie Ann Jackson, Rose Ann Newman, Melva Fern Biddle, Teena Lynne Howard Castle and Kelley Lorain Peggy Biddle; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers: Guy Odell Biddle and Clarence LaMar Biddle.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home.
Interment at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 4500 West Washington, Ogden, Utah.
