Amalga, Utah ? On May 26th, 2002, William Aquilla Noble, 72, died at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. William was born on June 9, 1929 to Clyde and Margaret Noble. He lived in Amalga his whole life. He graduated from North Cache and served in the Korean War. He married Margaret Bradshaw on July 3, 1950 in the Logan Temple. They have been married for 51 years. They have three children: Kristie Wengreen, Orem, Utah; Brad Noble and spouse Kathy, Benson, Utah; and Natalie Graham and spouse Casey, Pleasant Grove, Utah. They have 6 grandchildren: Dustin Wengreen, Courtney Wengreen, Margo Wengreen, Megan Noble,Whitley Noble, and McKay Noble. They also have 2 step grandchildren: Damiee Graham and Landon Graham. William was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served faithfully in many positions in the Church, one of which was Bishop of the Amalga Ward. His greatest love was his family. He worked hard his whole life, owning and running a dairy farm with his brother, Darrell Noble. He was an honest and trustworthy man. He will be missed greatly by his family. William is survived by his siblings: Collene and Halvor Hansen, Darrell and Carol Noble and Joan and Reed Stalder. Funeral services will be held in the Amalga Church, 6521 North 2400 West on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 12:00 noon. Friends and family may call at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield on Wednesday evening, May 29th from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and at the Amalga church from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 30th prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery with Military graveside rites provided by Smithfield American Legion Post 58. Condolences to the family may be extended online at
