William Hymas

December 10, 1940 — February 1, 2006

TREMONTON ? William ?Bill? Hymas, 65, formerly of Logan, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2006. Bill was born December 10, 1940, in Ogden, Utah, to Earl and Villa Hymas. He went to Montpelier High School. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to New Zealand from 1960 to 1962. He married Sharol Owen Barnett in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 20, 1964. Together they had four children. He later divorced and then married Linda Robinson on August 18, 1998. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various capacities. He enjoyed spending his spare time with his family. He loved photography and to travel. Bill worked for more than 20 years at FMC Corp in Green River, Wyoming. He had a generous, Christ-like spirit and served and loved everyone without expecting anything in return. To know him is to love him. He was a jack of all trades. He was preceded in death by his mother, Villa Vanetta White; his father, Earl D. Hymas;
and two brothers, Virgil and Ray Hymas. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hymas; and his sons: Kirk Dawn Hymas of Ogden and Bill Sarah Hymas of Green River. He is also survived by his two daughters: Dana Mike Behrman of Reliance, Wyoming, and Sharolyn Ben Murray of Ogden; along with 15 grandchildren. Bill also had four stepchildren: Jill Adamski of Birmingham, Alabama, Julie Justus Swensen of Millville, Chris Michelle Robinson of Portland, Oregon and Kim Greg Davis of Rexburg, Idaho; along with seven step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Martin and Rogers; and sisters, Genevieve and Anona. His family would like to thank the ER staff at Logan Regional Hospital and his coworkers from Hyclone for their assistance in his last moments. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Logan 10th Ward, 792 North 500 East, Logan. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and also from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Interment will be at Lindquist?s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatach, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden.
