William Dean ?Bill? Moon, 57, died May 15, 2004. He was born November 10, 1946 in Logan, Utah, son of Franklin Joseph Moon, Sr. and Mary Alyce Blackett Moon. He married, what was to be the love of his life, Colleen Izatt June 6, 1969. They were blessed with two daughters, Kelli Dawn Bret Barker and Hollie Jo Dan Richards. Bill spent 4 years active duty in the United States Navy. Bill was a tree trimmer by profession. He was owner of Tree Pros for over 25 years. He loved his work and all of his many customers. He took pride in his work and appreciated working outdoors. Prior to starting his own business, he worked for Sears for 11 years. When not able to cut trees due to bad weather he worked as a repairman and drove trucks for Millers. Bill was good with his hands and could fix about anything. He loved to work with wood and was very creative. Most importantly, Bill loved to spend time with his family. He and his wife Colleen loved traveling and were always looking for a new location to go on ?walk about.? He loved the mountains and camping. He also loved touring in his motor home. He had a great love for his grandchildren and was very proud of all of them. He was never too busy to spend time with them. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Colleen, his daughters Kelli Bret and Hollie Dan, and his five grandchildren, Kristen, Torie, Chance, Mitchel, and Max. He is also survived by his mother and father, Frank and Alyce Moon, mother-in-law, Dora Izatt, brother, Frank Debbie Moon, and sisters Sharon Jerry Young and Marsha Cooper. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews who consider him their favorite ?Uncle Bill.? Services will be held Wednesday, May 19, at noon at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends may call Tuesday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m at the funeral home and on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Internment will be at the Logan Cemetery.
