Wade Kimberley Hutchison

February 11, 1955 — October 29, 2007

Smithfield UT- Wade Kimberly Hutchison, 52, returned to his Father in Heaven on Monday October 29, 2007 after a short battle with cancer. He was born February 11, 1955 in Logan Utah to Ed and Audrey Hutchison; he is the oldest of three children. Kim married Lynette Bartlett, April 5, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kim grew up in North Logan and attended Cache County schools. He graduated from Sky View High School in 1973. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Utah State University in 1976. After graduating from USU, Kim went to work at the fourth generation-owned family business, Gilt Edge Flour Mills in Richmond UT, eventually owning the company in a partnership with his brother. In 2005 he sold the mill and at the time of his death he was working part-time in the accounting department at Miller Brothers Express in Hyrum. Kim and Lynette raised their family in Smithfield. They have four children Tami, Julie, Eddie, and Andy. He is the proud grandpa of five grandchildren with two more on the way. Kim was actively involved in the LDS church, serving in many positions throughout his life. He was also very involved in youth sporting activities and always supported his sons and other fine young men. Kim was an avid reader; he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He took great pride in the appearance of the yard and enjoyed taking the grandkids for rides on his tractor. Kim was a lot of fun to be around and could find humor in almost any situation. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Lynette of 30 years; children Tami Brent Suisse of Providence, Julie Blake Ballard of North Logan, Eddie Michelle Hutchison of Columbus Ohio, and Andy Mallory Hutchison of Logan. Parents, Ed and Audrey Hutchison of North Logan; sister, Sally Brooks Tarbet of Lewiston; brother Ned Sherri Hutchison of Hyde Park; grandchildren: Brittany, Brooklyn, and Damon Suisse, Carver Ballard and Alli Hutchison; as well as many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
