Wallace Keith Godderidge, son of William Godderidge and Alice Effie Gamet died at the age of 85, Friday, July 24, 2015 at United Health Care in Logan, Utah. He was grateful for the loving care he received there.
Keith was born June 7, 1930 in Smithfield Utah, the 6th of 8 children. He is survived by his brother in law George Conley of Roy Utah, Sister Aleen Wood (Hal) of Garland Utah. Charles Godderidge (Marjorie), of Smithfield Utah, sister Shirley Fabricius of Newton, Utah, and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from North Cache High School and attended College and then was called to serve in the U.S. Army where he was a radio operator in the Marshall Islands as they were testing the A+H bombs.
Keith was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as a missionary in England, the homeland of his Father. He had many church callings and was involved in genealogy work and went to the temple regularly.
He loved the out of doors, especially fishing. At Keith’s request there will be no formal services. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 28 2015 at 11:00 am at the Smithfield Cemetery.
