Vernon Don Williamson

Vernon Don Williamson passed peacefully away January 17, 2009 surrounded by family. Don was born February 10, 1932, in Smithfield, Utah to Vern and Beth Bickmore Williamson. He graduated from South Cache High School. He owned and operated a very successful drywall business until he retired. Don married Jolin Smith, they later divorced. He later married Kathryn Jodie Hanson. Later in life he married Linda Zabriskie. Don had a great love of life, the outdoors, the mountains, his horses, family, Linda and especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Linda, his children, Kim Sharon Williamson, Don Nyla Williamson, Jr., Nena Williamson, Kirk Lori Williamson, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. His sisters Ruth Robert Sears, Gale Gary Kendrick. He was preceded in death by a daughter Taya Dawn, and a son Dirk Williamson. His parents Vern and Beth Williamson, his brother Kay Williamson and a sister Joann Williamson Riggs. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 12 Noon at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and also Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Paradise City Cemetery, Paradise, Utah.
