Verna Helen Tracy

Garland - Verna Helen Larsen Tracy, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Garland on July 11, 2004. She was born on October 28, 1916 to Oscar and Luella James Larsen in Harrisville, Utah. She was raised in Park Valley, Utah and lived in Tremonton and Garland, Utah. She married Anthon Orin Tracy in Brigham City on July 23, 1940. Anthon passed away on July 30, 1961.
Verna held a variety of positions in the LDS Primary, Sunday School, Young Adults, and was also a Relief Society Visiting Teacher.
She is survived by her children, Ross Dawnetta Cheyenne, WY, Lowell Ilene, Bear River City, Michael Tracy, Brent Tracy, RaNae Tracy, Vicki Ann Bradley Smith all of Garland, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren, and special family members Mary Ann Tracy and Donna Jean Tracy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthon Orin, one son LaMar and two daughters Jean and Marcia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland Tabernacle located at 140 West Factory, Garland. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also on Thursday at 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at the Garland Tabernacle.
Interment will be at the Park Valley Cemetery
