Val Noble Seamons died on December 17, 2009, after suffering from many health problems, at the Beehive Homes in Logan, Utah. He was born in Logan, Utah on November 1, 1941, and raised in Hyde Park, Utah, the sixth and last child of Harvey Noble and Melba Olney Seamons. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He attended Hyde Park Elementary School, Smithfield Jr. High School, and North Cache High School. He was a cheerleader while in Jr. High and High School and had a musical talent. He attended USU for a short time and was in the Army for two years. Following that he spent about two years in the Army Reserve. Val lived in Logan most of his life. He worked for Schreiber Foods up until his retirement several years ago. Val was known for his quick wit and joking manner. He was well liked and had many true friends who have helped him through his trials. He will be greatly missed. Val is survived by two sisters, two brothers, and a sister-in-law: Ervin LaRane-deceased, Whittier, California; Rendell Rhonda-deceased, Hyde Park, Utah; Carol Del Howells, Paradise, Utah; Ramona Earl, Orange, California; and Louise Seamons wife of Clynn, St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by brother Clynn Seamons Jean-deceased, his parents, and three sisters-in-law. The family wishes to offer great thanks to the many kind friends and family who have helped Val so much. A special thanks to Dr. Holland and the workers of Hospice of Utah who have offered excellent care and compassion during his illness. One of Val?s wishes was to fly over the Grand Canyon and Hospice recently made this possible. Also, thanks to the workers at Beehive Homes who have been so kind and spent so much time with Val in his final days. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Nelson Funeral Home , 162 East 400 North, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held from11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Hyde Park City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at
