Tyson Jerry Busenbark

July 9, 1990 — August 1, 2008

Tyson Jerry Busenbark, son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend returned to the lovely arms of his Heavenly Father on August 1st 2008 after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Tyson was born on July 9, 1990. Tyson had a great love for life and never let anything get him down; even cancer could not keep him from the many things that he enjoyed. Some of them included Sky View football; Tyson helped as manager of the team for 2 years. He also enjoyed playing with his cousins, and having X-box wars any chance they got. He enjoyed RC racecars, and also had a love for music; he had made many new friends through this love. Anyone who knew Tyson knew that he had developed a motto of "NEVER GIVE UP" and only after his earthly mission was almost complete did he say "I'm ready to go", not give up just give more. Tyson was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Smithfield 19th ward, and always tried to live his life worthy to serve a mission, we all feel that Tyson has now received his call. Tyson is survived by his mom and step dad, Susan and Kent McClellan, Sister Tawnie Busenbark all of Smithfield; father, Bud Busenbark of Tremonton; grandparents Knud and Connie Fridal of Tremonton and Mary and Jerry Busenbark of North Logan, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tyson's family would like to thank his very special caregiver, his grandma Connie, who has been with him almost every day for the last few months. We would also like to thank the CNS hospice team, especially James Burt, or as Tyson would call him, the Vampire, and the many doctors and nurses at PCMC, for they were not only care givers, but are now friends for life. His Great G&G Roche, Fridal and Great Grandpa Busenbark preceded Tyson in death. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Smithfield 19th ward chapel at 640 North 200 East with Bishop Kelly Pitcher conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Monday August 4 at Nelson Funeral Home at 85 South Main in Smithfield and from 9:30 to 10:30 Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a memorial fund set in Tyson's name at any Wells Fargo to go towards buying gifts for the children at Primary Children's Medical Center.
