Trevor Ray Freston, while surrounded by his family on earth, returned home to his Heavenly Father Saturday January 31, 2009, after a long and exhaustive Illness. Trevor was born June 24, 1948 in Tooele Utah to Glendon and Virginia Freston. He married the love of his life, Shawna Nielsen on June 27th 1969, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. He lived most of his childhood years in the Salt Lake Area with many cherished summer trips to his Grandfathers farm in Chester Utah. Trevor worked 24 years for Thiokol, he loved his job and the opportunity to be involved with the space shuttle program. Trevor had many hobbies, in his earlier years, he loved motorcycles, deer hunting, bowling and he participated in the ward choir. After he began to lose his ability to do the more active things, he began quilting, which he approached with great enthusiasm, as he did everything in life. Dad loved music, anyone who spent time around him will remember him having music playing in the background all of the time, wherever he was. He also had a great artistic eye, he could look at a tree limb and see that there was a dolphin or whale in there just trying to get out, and the thing about him is, that he had the ability to make it happen with the most basic hand tools. He had a great love for his children and grandchildren, and supported them as much as possible. If there was a Freston kid on the team, you knew it. He was not shy about expressing his opinions and advice about how to play whatever was being played. Trevor was preceded in death by his father Glendon, his mother Virginia, and his brother David. Trevor is survived by his wife, Shawna; children: Cade Heather Freston; Eric Mindy Freston; Kamill Freston; and four grandchildren: Taylor K., Brendon, Dylan, and Zachary Freston. Trevor we miss you and repeat your last words to Shawna, I LOVE YOU. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Hyrum 5th Ward Chapel, 125 North 400 West, Hyrum.
