Tina Lewis Christensen was born January 7, 1960 in Long Beach, CA to Lulu and Sherman D. Lewis. Her family moved to Cache Valley, where she later graduated from Sky View High School. She married Terry L. Christensen in the Logan Temple, with whom she celebrated 35 years of marriage. She moonlighted as a medical assistant, but her true passion was her family. She taught her baby girl to be a lady and she taught all her cubs how to scout. She threw great birthday parties, bandaged wounds, and won almost every water fight she got into (she had less luck with food fights, but no one is perfect). She shared kindness and a smile with everyone she met. The ripples she created with this gift are still touching lives today. She is survived and sorely missed by her husband, Terry; her children, Heather (James) Mitchell, Adam (Siny), Nathan, Daniel (Britani), Joshua…and Paul (whom she adopted and often fed as one of her own); as well as the world’s best grandchildren ever (we checked) Kaitlyn, Austin, Savannah, Tegan, Dylan, and more to follow. The family would also like to express heartfelt gratitude to Drs. Ali-Ben Jacob and Bart Avery and their staff for the care and love they shared. We are consoled in our knowledge that our wife, mother, and grandma has been taken back into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Respects can be paid Monday, July 13 from 6-8 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield; Tuesday, July 14 at Smithfield 1st Ward Chapel, 200 S 100 E, Smithfield from 10:30 to 11:30 AM followed by the funeral at 12 PM. Burial will be in the Smithfield Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at
