Riverside, UT - Thelma Mae Dorman Rose, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Beehive Homes of Logan. She was born January 10, 1920 to John F. and Sarah Jane Robb Dorman in Higbee, MO. She was the youngest of four children. At an early age she traveled to Roundup, Montana with her family where her father had been offered a job working the coal mines. She grew up in Roundup, met and married James Russell Rose October 14, 1938. He died May 4, 1981. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara "Bobbie" Ted Amsler; son, Terry Russell Rose; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great, great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 2:00 p.m. at Belmont 2nd Ward Church, 16825 North 5200 West, Riverside with Bishop Neil Capener officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery.
