Suzette Sorenson Baker

August 2, 1967 — September 10, 2014

Born 2 August 1967 Logan, Utah - Died 10 September 2014 Logan, Utah
Suzette was raised with love by her Mother Phyllis and Grandparents John Elwood and Ella Larson Sorenson. She graduated from Logan High School and earned a bachelor degree from Utah State University. She worked extensively with computers, and as she pursued a masters degree taught and influenced many people. She recently received and valued a one year chip from Alcoholics Anonymous and helped and inspired many who battled addictions as she had. She survived three times from cancer. She married Carl Baker and even after a divorce maintained a strong friendship. She is survived by her parents, Lonnie and Phyllis Kay Randolph, UT; daughters, Mrs. Cassandra Booth Kristopher and grandson Aiden Booth, Brittney Baker; son, Jamison Baker all Logan, UT; ex-husband Carl Baker Logan, UT; sister, Shelly Griffin Logan; aunts Mrs. Ross Woodward Margene, Marilyn Sorenson; and uncle Don Margaret Sorenson. She was eternally thankful to her friend Officer Gail Roskelley. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt Gwen Nuttall. She loved penguins, probably because they so successfully survive the cold. In lieu of flowers we would ask that donations be made to support those who work with autistic children like her dear little Aiden. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 with a celebratory service Tuesday at 11 AM at the Nelson Funeral Home at 162 East 400 North in Logan--all welcome. She will be buried afterward in the Logan City Cemetery next to her grandparents. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
