Susan Archibald Farnsworth Bear River City: Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, ?Nana?, and friend, Susan Archibald Farnsworth, returned home to Our Heavenly Father on February 2, 2003, following an extended battle with cancer. Susan was born in Brigham City, Utah, on December 4, 1947, to Doyle ?Bob? and Arva Dallin Archibald. She grew up in Bear River City where she received her early education and she graduated from Box Elder High School. After living for a time in Brigham City, she returned to Bear River City to raise her own family. She enjoyed her work and she treasured the many friendships she made during nearly 30 years of employment with the Defense Logistics Agency of the United States government. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially enjoyed her callings and associations in the ward and stake Young Women organizations. She enjoyed needlework, scrapbooking, and other crafts. She also enjoyed various outdoor activities such as camping and gardening. But most of all, her life was devoted to her family, and she loved to spend time with those whom were closest to her, particularly her grandchildren during the last few years. Her loving and caring spirit touched the lives of all those who knew her. She is survived by her son Zac Joy Yates of Lynnwood, WA; her daughter Megan Farnsworth, Bear River City; her mother Arva Archibald, Bear River City; her siblings, Spencer Janice Archibald, Brigham City; Joy Richard Nelson, Bear River City; and Dwain Archibald, Ogden; and her two grandchildren Kyla and Treyson Yates. Preceding her in death were her father and two infant sons, Jared Lee and Matt Lee Farnsworth. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the many caring nurses and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the radiation oncology division at the McKay Dee hospital, particularly to Dr. Saundra Buys and Dr. Leslye Ingersol. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 7, 2003, 12:00 noon at the Bear River LDS Chapel, 5870 North 4700 West. Friends may call Thursday, February 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Friday, February 7th from 10:30 to 11:40 a.m. at the church.
