Sue White Taylor

d. October 7, 2003

Sue White Taylor, 52, of Pocatello, ID passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at
Portneuf Medical Center from a sudden illness. Sue was born in Preston , Idaho to D.A. and Leone White. She was raised in River
Heights, UT and was a graduate of Sky View High School. She married Richard Parley Eliason in 1970. Richard passed away in 1972. She married and raised her family together with Jeffrey Price Taylor. Our mother's focus was love and service to her family. Time with children and
grandchildren, no matter where they were, was most important to her. This led to
journeys to Europe, the East Coast, Texas, and California. She had just returned from a week with her son and his family in Calgary, Canada. Grandma Sue was well known for remembering important dates or minuscule holidays with a card, gift, or phone call. Grandma Sue enjoyed to read a good book, and passed
this love on to her children and grandchildren. If she couldn't be with her family,
she chose to be in her garden, or sewing a quilt or blessing dress for a grandchild on the way. Our mother's life was also a life of service to the LDS Church. She has held countless callings, and at the time of her death was serving in the Relief Society presidency of the ISU 2nd Stake. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Price Taylor, children Jan Jenson Steve of Wellsville, UT; Eric Eliason Shannon of Farmington, UT; Angela Poulton Jeff of El Dorado Hills, CA; Jeffrey Daniel Taylor Christy of Calgary, Canada; Amy Laney Patrick of Logan, UT; Lisa Jolley of Logan, UT; Greg and 5 grandsons and 12 granddaughters; her father Don Alfred White and brothers Don, Jon, and Val White. Sue was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Eliason and mother Leone MacFarlane White. A viewing will be held this Thursday, October 9, 2003 from 6 to 8 pm at the Highland LDS Stake Center at 2140 Satterfield Drive in Pocatello, and for one hour prior to the funeral services at the same location. Funeral services will Friday, October 10, 2003 at 11 am at the Highland LDS Stake Center. Internment will be at the Providence Cemetery in River Heights, UT at 3 pm.
