Stuart A. Cornwall

February 25, 1932 — January 15, 2008

Tremonton, UT – Stuart A. Cornwall, 75, returned to his Heavenly Father and eternal companion Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He was born February 25, 1932 to Chauncey Miller and Mae Gertrude Cornwall in Elwood, Utah. He married his sweetheart, Charlene Lamb November 12, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Stuart served in many callings in the LDS Church. He made many friends while serving two LDS missions: Atlanta Georgia and the Brisbane Australia. He also served as an officiator in the Logan LDS Temple for three and a half years. Dad wanted his family to be the best they could in anything they attempted in life. He enjoyed archery competitions, hunting and Dad was a great coach. He enjoyed farming and raising sheep. Dad retired from Thiokol after 34 years of service.
He is survived by his children, Dustin Denise Cornwall, Columbia, TN; Kayln Vern Ryan, West Bountiful, UT; Kim Max Kirkman, Clinton, UT; Penny Cornwall Finch, Payson, UT; Travis Susie Cornwall, Prescott Valley, AZ; Kerrie Mark Allen, Santa Fe, NM; and Kisha Ricky Collom, Tremonton, UT; his siblings: Lola Hank Peluga, Las Vegas, NV, Cheryl Boyd Marble, Bothwell, “Red” CM Cornwall, Riverside, Barbara Nelson, Bothwell, UT, Kitty Bruce Carr, Mantua, Dixie John Baxter, Elwood, Jean Cornwall, Las Vegas, NV and Steven Peluga, Elwood.
He is preceded in death by his wife; son, Shane D. Cornwall; brother, Doug Cornwall; sister-in-law, Joyce Cornwall and brother-in-law, LaMont Nelson.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 11:00 a.m. at Tremonton 3rd Ward Church, 9590 North 6800 West, Tremonton. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Saturday from 9:30–10:40 a.m. Saturday at the church.
