Steve Chamberland went home to Father in Heaven last Thursday, July 3 at 55 years old. He had a long and painful battle with diabetes, high blood pressure and heart complications. He was hospitalized after a heart attack in early January of this year however the exact cause of his death is to be determined. Steve is survived by his wife Julie, his sisters Darlene and Debbie, his brother, Jim and his cousin Linda. Steve went to college in Branson Vermont where he learned music in opera. He went on to be an amazing singer and instructor. Later, he served a mission in Peru where he loved to give his time and offer services to the less fortunate. After many years of moving and traveling the United States with his former wife who divorced him he made his home in Logan Utah where he met Julie; they had an instant connection. Steve and Julie married on May 1, 2009. Their marriage had many challenges, but there was nothing they couldn't get through together which made their bond stronger than ever. Steve enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending all the quality time he could with Julie in their Smithfield home. He will be missed by many. All friends and family are invited to attend his memorial service on Sunday, July 13 at 7pm in the Logan South Stake Center located at 340 west 700 south.
