Stephen Clyde Jensen

November 24, 1941 — January 9, 2008

Garland, UT – Our dearest husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Stephen C. Jensen, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 9, 2008.
He was born in Idaho Falls, ID December 24, 1941 to Leslie C. and Helen Summers Jensen. He was the oldest of nine children and enjoyed his childhood on the farm in Ririe, ID.
He attended Ricks College and graduated from BYU. He served a mission to the Northwest States Mission. He married Susan Parke October 29, 1966 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were later divorced. He married Pam Wittmann August 27, 2005 in the Ogden Temple. He was the proud father of seven children; grandfather of 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a faithful member of the LDS Church, Garland 5th Ward. He loved to spend time with his family, fish, garden, watch BYU football and serve others.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Jensen; his mother, Helen Jensen; his children: Alison Kevin O’Grady, Mary Kenny Johnston, Andrew Jensen, Matthew Jensen, Seth Tammy Jensen, Seve Scott Smith and Chelsea Jensen; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty Wilding, Renee Tom Griggs, Valene Kent Willford, Wanda Jerrold Martineau and brothers: Allen Joellen Jensen, Dell Paula Jensen, and Lyle Radene Jensen.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother, George Kay and grandson, Kris.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 14, 2008 11:00 a.m. at Garland 5th Ward Chapel, 175 South Main, Garland. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment at Garland Cemetery.
The family suggests donations be made to the LDS Humanitarian Services.
