Sidney Doyle Cutler

April 10, 1937 — November 29, 2007

Sidney Doyle Cutler 4/10/1937 - 11/29/2007 Surrounded by his loving family, Sidney Doyle Cutler returned home to his Father in Heaven, after suffering complications from heart surgery. Sid grew up in Snowville, Utah; he was the only son of three children born to Doyle and Amanda Cutler deceased. During his high school years, Sid lived in Tremonton with friends to attend Bear River High School. After high school, he attended Utah State University on a football scholarship. For thirty-three years, Sid worked for Thiokol Corporation. He took a medical retirement after being diagnosed with cancer, which he fought courageously for more than 16 years. Sid was a perfectionist; everything he did, he did well ? and from the heart. He demonstrated extraordinary work ethic in his employment, his home and his family. In 1956 Sid married his high school sweetheart and eternal companion, Jolene Conger, in the Logan Temple. They were blessed with four children. Throughout his life Sid was an avid athlete and outdoors enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball and golf. When Sid wasn?t on the golf course, he was supporting his children and grandchildren in their own endeavors. Although he would have preferred to spend his time at athletic events, he gave daughters and granddaughters equal support by attending countless music and dance recitals. Above everything else, Sid valued his family. Throughout his seventy years, he strived to build, strengthen and support those he loved in any way he could. He taught by example and strengthened his family through his unwavering testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sid?s happiest moments were spent on yearly family vacations to Henry?s Lake, traditional holiday gatherings, backyard get-togethers, hunting trips and golfing with friends. Sid was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many capacities including: Counselor in the Tremonton 1st Ward Bishopric, High Priest Group Leader, Home Teacher and Sunday School President. Sid is survived, and missed, by his wife of fifty-one years: Jolene Conger Cutler; Sons: Brad Nanette Cutler of Green River, WY, Tyler Teri Cutler of Wellsville; Daughters: CathiMark Walker of Brigham City, Katie Dave Oliverson of Smithfield; Sisters: Darlene Potter of Garland, LaDene Zundel of Fielding and 14 grandchildren.
