Garland - Sharline Kay Roundy Gledhill, 40, passed away on May 2, 2004. She was born in Brigham City, Utah on August 30, 1963 to Merrill W. and Sandra Kay Caldwell Roundy. She married Jerald Dennis "Jode" Gledhill on March 23, 1984 in Tremonton, Utah.
"Shar" was a 1981 graduate of Bear River High School. She was raised and education in Garland and Tremonton. She worked as a waitress at crossroads and was a postal worker in Garland. She had a gorgeous smile, was very outgoing and people oriented. Everyone loved her. She enjoyed toll painting and various crafts. She loved spending time with her family, camping, four wheeling, and riding the snowmobiles.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Garland 1st Ward. She also served for 11 years as the Arts and Crafts Director at the Box Elder County Fair.
She is survived by her parents, her husband, five children: Travis Diane Gledhill of Garland, Amanda Willard of Bluffdale, Bradley, Dani Kay and Brittany Gledhill all of Garland; three grandchildren; one brother, LaVere W. Roundy of Salt Lake City; grandfather, Earnest W. Caldwell of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Ermer Ree Caldwell, Ralph and Gladys Bishop, and her father and mother-in-law, Donald and Dorothy Gledhill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garland Tabernacle located at 140 West Factory, Garland. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Thursday 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
