Fielding - Sasha Ann Stephens, 15, of Fielding, was born on August 21, 1988 the daughter of Christopher T. and Wendy Stephens. Our "Touch of Heaven on Earth" passed peacefully at her home of natural causes, returning to her Heavenly Father's out stretched arms on Saturday, November 29, 2003. Sasha was simply our angel. She brought with her a powerful spirit contained inside her handicapped body. She had daily struggles with her Diabetes Insipidus, blindness and Cerebral Palsy, which caused her daily pain. She enjoyed the simple things in life, a kind word, a book read, family and friends. She loved to learn and ask questions such as, "What is your favorite color?" Her's is Blue. Some of her other favorite things were Legos, Swimming, Singing, and Tigger. Others included Barney, Cards, and Butterfly Kisses. She also gave the best Bear Hugs. Sasha was dearly loved by so many. Her Daddy will miss his Bear Hugs. Mom will miss her quiet footsteps always near. Tiera will miss doing her hair and seeing her at Bear River Middle School. Chase will miss her funny sense of humor and that she was always happy. Chelsea will miss how see showed us how to love people. Destiny will miss her playing with her. There are so many things left unsaid, so many stories to read, but Heavenly Father needed her more. Sasha was currently attending Bear River Middle School. She previously attended Utah School for the Deaf and Blind. She attended the Belmont 1st Ward, and the Riverdale 4th Ward. We would like to thank the Belmont 1st Ward Young Women who were so kind to Sasha. Thanks to the teachers, aides, and bus drivers that helped her through the day. Also thanks to Shriners, Dr. Mindy Boehm and Phil and all those who made her day brighter. She is survived by her parents; one brother - Chase; and three sisters - Tiera, Chelsea, and Destiny; Special Uncle Hyrum Stacey and many other relatives.
