Phippen. Sara checked-in to a better world October 4, 2005 due to heart related problems. She married Melvin Cook Phippen on March 23, 1939 and leaves behind two daughters, Pat Dietz and Barbara Haines, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A viewing and visiting with family will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan on Friday, October 7th from 12 noon to 1:45. p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery.
