Samuel Earl Snow

Portage. Samuel ?Red? Earl Snow, 83, passed away August 26, 2003 at the Bear River Care Center of congestive heart failure. Samuel was born on July 22, 1920 in Brigham City to Samuel Earl and Ada Grace Hess Snow. He married Ruth Diane Rockwood on July 17, 1948 in Brigham City. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in February 1964. He was a High Priest in the Portage Ward and served there in various callings. Samuel served in WWII as a Marine. During his lifetime he lived in Utah, Colorado and Arizona. The things he enjoyed most were his family and raising cattle. He is survived by his wife and their four children: Sam Snow, Susan Grant Bell both of Portage, Debbie Clint Cooper of Newton, and Bill Julie Snow of Tremonton. Also surviving are his sisters: Olive Frank Baily of California and Juanita Wynn Jensen of Brigham City, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is preceded in Death by his parents, two brothers: Lorenzo and Bill, and a sister Bette. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Portage LDS Church located at 8910 West 25800 North, Portage. Family and friends may call on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also on Saturday, August 30, 2003 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the church.
