Ruby Anderson Orwin TREMONTON: Ruby Anderson Orwin, 95, died November 26, 2002, at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton. She was born September 18, 1907, in Bothwell, Utah, the daughter of Rasmus Daddy and Mary Elvina Johnson Anderson. She married Dean Voss Orwin in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 19, 1946. Ruby was reared in Bothwell, Utah. She attended school in Bothwell and Bear River High School in Tremonton. She worked at Utah Poultry , Gephart Store, and Grey Hound Bus Depot. She worked on the family farm and helped support her parents, brothers, and sisters. To help support her sons on missions she had a branch of Beehive Distribution in her home. She was an active member of the Tremonton 9th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the North Central States Mission. She served as Relief Society President, taught in Relief Society, Sunday School, Primary and the M.I.A. on both the ward and stake level. She kept her hands busy tatting for her family, friends, and members of the community. She was a wonderful cook, loved music, studying the scriptures, and temple work. Her greatest joy was spending time with and serving her family and friends. She is survived by her son, James R. and Carol Orwin, Fredericksberg, VA; daughter-in-law, Louise R. Orwin, Tremonton, UT; nine grandchildren, one great grandson; a brother, Cleon Anderson, Bothwell; a sister, Vera Smith, Idaho Falls, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Terry Dean Orwin, 13 brothers and sisters. Retta Adams, Edna Anderson, Alice Roche, Mable Stokes, Wallace Anderson, Amy Allen, Leland Joe Anderson, Milton Anderson, Estella Newman, Reed Anderson, Clyde Anderson, Golden Anderson, and Wanda Newman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2002, 12:00 noon at the Tremonton LDS South Stake Center, 1150 South Tremont Street. Friends may call Friday, November 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 30th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
