Ronald Lewis Pace, 72, passed away at his home, Wednesday, December 21, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 6, 1933 in Eden, Idaho to Grover Lewis and Mabel Claire Abbott Pace. He attended and graduated from local Cache Valley Schools. He married Marlyn Seamons in Hyde Park, Utah on April 5, 1956. His work as a conductor with the Southern Pacific Railroad took them to live in Carlin and Reno, Nevada; Ogden, Utah; and Wellsville, Utah, where they resided for 23 years. Upon his wife?s retirement, they relocated to Coeur D?Alene, Idaho, returning to Logan in 2005. Ron served his country honorably during the Korean conflict. His hobby was cars, and building with his hands. He loved his family dearly expecially his wife of 49 years. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Marlyn of Logan; daughters: Teresa Taylor, Logan; Allison Roby-Hill, Nibley; son: Randall Melanie Pace, Smithfield; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by a sister, Geraldine Kelley. He was preceded in by his granddaughter, Amanda Taylor; his parents, sisters: Wilma Pace and Shirley Blackburn; brothers: Melvin and Kenneth Pace and parents-in-law, Howard and Edith Seamons of Hyde Park. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 2:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. There will be a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
