Ronald Verl Kirk

Ronald Verl Kirk, 83, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, March 30, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his wife, children & grandchildren at the time of his passing. He was born January 27, 1935 in Tooele, Utah, the eldest child of Rollo J. & Chloe Ann Kirk. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve "Jenny" (Jeppson) Kirk; his children, Dana (Suzanne) Kirk, Greg (Carole) Kirk, Laurie (George) Sommer, Alicia (Raymond) White; his step children, Steve (Janet) Jeppson, Pete (Tiffany) Jeppson, Joe (Holly) Jeppson, Christine (Wayne) May, Cheryl (Hubbard) Jeppson, and Stefanie (Antrim) Jeppson. He is also survived by his sister, Becky (Mike) Shipley; many nephews & nieces, and over 80 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Madsen Kirk, his father & mother, and two sisters, Renae (Kirk) Wise and CloAnn (Kirk) Werre.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Hyrum11th Ward Chapel, 595 South 200 East. Friends may call at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Tooele City Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
