Ronald Lee King, 71, died on November 29, 2015 surrounded by family.
Ron was born March 13, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Mildred C. Thurman and Lester King. His family was extremely poor while growing up but it taught him the value of hard work. He graduated from Garfield High School and later in life attended Bridgerland Applied Technology.
In March 1976 he met his eternal sweetheart Jeannie and they married July 23, 1976. They moved to Star Valley, Wyoming in 1978 to raise their family. On May 17, 1984 they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Ron was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings. He loved to serve others. He could be found outside on most snowy days shoveling the walks of the elderly and sick.
A good weekend to Ron was to be in the mountains logging. He loved to haul wood with his family-something his children didn't share his enthusiasm for!
Ron was preceded in death by both his parents.
He is survived by his wife Jeannie, 3 children: Nicholas King (Heather) of Salt Lake City, UT, Heather Allred (Bret) of Powell, Wyoming and Amy Staley (Jay) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, his brother Ivan King of Indiana and his sister Elaine Brandon of Colorado, and his beloved 11 grandchildren.
