Lewiston - Ronald Walter Jakl, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009. He was born July 18, 1936 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to Edward & Bernice Pentergast Jakl. Ronald honorably served our country in the US Air Force. He spent most of his days working out in the yard or spending time with his loving wife, Sonja and his precious grandchildren. He also loved being outdoors hunting, fishing and deer watching. He will be remembered as the excellent and loving man he was. We love you very much; we are blessed to have you in our lives. He is survived by his wife, Sonja; children: Debbie Tony Gomez, Edmond, OK; Pamela James Rohan, Eagle Mt., UT; David Jakl, Lewiston, UT; Kimberly Geoffrey Miller, Spokane, WA; 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Ed Jakl, Jerry Jakl, Carol DeValk, Patty Diny, and Tom Jakl, all of Wisconsin. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marie. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services.
