Robert S. Nelson

Phoenix, AZ - Robert S. Nelson Bob, 83, passed away peacefully Monday, March 5, 2007. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Zella; daughters: Sharilyn, Judy and Vicki; and sons: Alan and Jim; plus five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Born in Ogden, UT, Bob?s family moved to Logan, UT, where he graduated from Logan High School and attended Utah State University. He was called to duty in World War II with the Army Air Corps, where he served as communications officer in the South Pacific. Upon returning with an honorable discharge, he moved to Phoenix, AZ, and took a position at Mountain Bell and its successors for 42 years. He is loved by his family and will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held at Mercer Chapel, 1541 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix Thursday, March 8 from 3:00 - 6:00pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 12, at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the funeral. Interment at Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
