Ralph C. Green

Tremonton-Ralph C. Green, 81, passed away at the Bear River Valley Care Center on March 26, 2004. He was born August 5, 1922 in Tremonton to Chester Warren and Ellenor Dunn Green. He married Beth Johnson on September 2, 1942 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple on March 8, 1986. Beth passed away August 24, 1999.
Ralph was the youngest son of eleven children. He was reared and educated in Box Elder County. He is a Veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Army. Ralph farmed, worked as a foreman at U&I Sugar Company, and retired from the Box Elder County Road Department. He enjoyed working in the yard and working with his hands. He loved gardening and the harvest it brought every year to share with family and friends. His hobbies were dancing, fishing, hunting, playing cards, coaching and umpiring softball. Dad's happiest times were spent with family at Holiday parties.
Ralph is survived by his daughters, Judy Tom Housley, Stephanie Doutre; son Jeff Donetta Green; daughter-in-law Diane Green. Three sisters Beth McFarland, Merle Candilora, and Phyllis Bill Burt; 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth; three sons, Dennis, Kirk, Randall; and two grandchildren.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at the Bear River Valley Care Center who extended assistance, comfort, and kindness to our beloved Dad.
The Funeral will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday March 31, 2004 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 N. 100 E. in Tremonton. Family and friends may gather for a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM, and Wednesday morning from 10:30-11:30 both at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery following the service.
