Quentin Cleone Kitty Heitmeyer

July 22, 1918 — April 8, 2006

Quentin Cleone Kitty Heitmeyer a native of Clarkston, Utah, passed away on April 8, 2006, in Troy, Michigan. She was born in Clarkston July 22, 1918, to Joseph Martin Larson and Agnes May Godfrey. She was the sixth of seven children. A son and all of her brothers and sisters have preceded her in death. She married Paul R. Heitmeyer on June 28, 1939. They later divorced. She is survived by a son Richard M. Connie of Washington D.C. and two granddaughters, Carolyn and Dana. Her surviving nieces and nephews are the children of Beatrice Clarence Brough, Ella Byron Loosle, Gwendolyn Ernie Davis and Stanford Dorothy Larson. Kitty, as she was affectionately known by her family and close friends, received a Bachelors Degree in education from Utah State University and a Masters Degree in social work and special education from Wayne University. She has dedicated her professional life to working with children with special needs in Highland Park, Michigan. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2006, at 12:00 noon in the Clarkston LDS chapel, 25 East 100 South. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
