OBITUARY FORPEARL MOSS RHODESGarland- Laura Pearl Moss Rhodes, 89, passed away at her home in Garland. She was the daughter of Calvin W. and Olive Pearl Boulton Moss. She Married Ursel Clifton Rhodes on November 29, 1933 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 21, 1936.She was a graduate of Davis High School, and later lived in Fielding, East Garland, Hawaii, and Nevada. She served an LDS mission with her husband, Ursel, in Guam.Pearl was a housewife all of her life, and raised three children in her home.She was a member of the LDS church where she served in many different callings. She also was an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.Surviving are one son and one daughter, Vaughn Carole Rhodes, East Garland; Nadine R. David Bartholomew; Laguna Beach, California; 21 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ursel C. Rhodes, son Bert Rhodes, grandson Tommy, brother Keith, and a sister Gladys.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday July 9, 2003 at the Garland LDS Tabernacle, located at 140 West Factory street in Garland. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, and at the church Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Condolences may be expressed at
