Patricia Telford Larson

Patricia Telford Larson, 62, went home to those she loved on Sunday, January 1, 2006 after suffering a stroke.
She was born to Ross and Zelma Telford on January 20, 1943 in San Diego and grew up in and around Preston, Idaho. After graduating from Preston High School and attending Utah State she married Earl Meek who died a few years later. She was then married to Douglas P. Larson and spent 36 wonderful years together raising their family.
Patty loved being a mother and wife and talking with her friends. Sewing, tole painting, and handwork were some of her favorite hobbies. She served in a variety of calling in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her children: Ginger and Cory Swenson, Kirsten Meek, Brooks and Nicole Larson, Amber and Neil Anderson, Andrew Larson, her mother, Zelma Telford, brother Larry Telford, sister Joanne Hansen and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in by her husbands, Douglas P. Larson and Earl B. Meek, her father Ross Telford and brother Brooks Telford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 12 noon in the Smithfield Stake Center, 600 East 120 South. Friends may call at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
