Patricia Louise Fry Harris returned to her heavenly home Wednesday October 19, 2016. After beautifully enduring her health struggles for over 20 years she passed peacefully surrounded by family in the arms of her daughter.
Patricia was born March the 3rd, 1938 in Jerome, Idaho to Raymond Weaver and Myrtle Juanita Stephens Fry. She spent her childhood in Twin Falls, Idaho the 4th of 6 children. Pat’s first marriage gave her three wonderful children, Ray, Don, and Shawn Del. As a single mother, she graduated from dental assisting school in order to support her young family. Patricia’s Bishop introduced her to Denzil Reed Harris whom she married in the Logan LDS Temple on July 19, 1968.
Patricia will be remembered for being practically perfect in every way. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them. She loved to make Halloween costumes and birthday cakes for her kids, grandkids, friends and neighbors. Patricia spent the last several years living with her daughters’ family where she brought joy to everyone she came in contact with. Even through her struggles, she was always happy and grateful and never complained. All who came to visit her left feeling uplifted and loved. Pat filled any home with the sound of music.
Patricia was proceeded in death by her loving husband; her parents; and her brothers Howard and John. She is survived by her children Raymond Dee Harris, Donald William Harris, Shawn Del (Philip) Hunsaker, Wendy Louise (Clifton) Heath and David Ryan (Madison) Harris; her siblings Hirum, Rex, and Carolyn; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone at Access Home Care for the loving care of Mom in her final years, which allowed her to stay in the home of her daughter until the end. We could not have done that without you! Special thanks to Mindi Gereau.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22nd at 12:00 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at the same location Friday, October 21st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. She will be buried beside her husband in the Logan Cemetery.
