Pamela Orton Christensen

Pamela Orton Christensen 1950 ~ 2003 Snohomish Washington ? age 52, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2003 after a long battle with cancer. She was born December 28, 1950 in Provo, Utah, a Daughter of Bryce B. And Thelma M Orton. She married Garth J. Christensen on Sept 25, 1974 in the Provo Utah LDS Temple. Pamela was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served an 18 month mission to the Eastern States. Pamela always felt her greatest calling in life was that of a mother, and she was blessed with 6 children. She took her greatest pride in each of her children, and her goodness is reflected in their lives. She taught them through her example of love, responsibility for their own actions, and service to others. In order to be at home with her children she delivered newspapers in the early morning for the past several years. Pamela was a very accomplished seamstress and her relaxation was to sew for her children or read a good book. Pamela is survived by her husband, Garth; children, Jared Garth, Joshua Joseph, Michelle, Sean Steven, Aaron Willis and Andrea; mother, Thelma Orton; brothers, Brent, David, and Chad Orton; and sister; Debra Clegg. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel located at 8522 131st Ave SE, Snohomish on Thursday, June 19th at 1:00 pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2003, 1:00 p.m. at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
