Orpha Deen Bowers

Layton - Orpha Deen Jacobs Bowers, 95, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 25, 2004. Orpha was born on July 15, 1908 to George Isace Jacobs and Hannah May Workman. She married Charles Edward Bowers on November 6, 1924. Their marriage was solemnized on September 9, 1963 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were married 72 ½ years. Edward passed way on July 15, 1997. She enjoyed serving in the LDS Church in Relief Society, Sunday School, visiting teaching and has been recognized for her service. Surviving are one brother-in-law, LeRoy LaRee G. Bowers, two sister-in-laws, Larrine Stenick and Brenice Trappett, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Family and friends may call at 12:00 noon.
