Ollie Jean Skanchy Cutler

Ollie Jean Cutler, age 86, a resident of Carson City, Nevada for the last 6 years, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2006, in Carson City. She was born in Logan, Utah on May 9, 1920 to Norman and Addie Skanchy. She attended schools in Logan and in 1952, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she lived until moving to Carson City. Ollie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved to sing, dance and do work in the church ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1975. Survivors include 3 sons: Richard Cutler of Carson City; Robert Virginia Cutler of Carson City; and John Nancy Cutler of Denver, Colorado; one brother: Norman Skanchy of Ogden, Utah; one sister: Virginia Oshel of Clearfield, Utah; one sister-in-law: Ann Skanchy of Logan, Utah 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends and family may call from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to services.
