Olga Veshi Pali Elwood: Olga Veshi Pali, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Elwood, on May 8, 2002. She was born March 20, 1914, in Korce, Albania, the daughter of Koco and Nezenya Veshi. She married Elia Pali on February 19, 1933, in Korce, Albania. He died September 26, 1981. Eli came to America in the early 1920?s and purchased a farm in Elwood. He returned to Albania to marry Olga and together they arrived in the United States on May 23, 1933 and settled on their farm where she has lived for the past 69 years. She excelled in handwork of every kind, entertaining friends and family, gardening and maintaining a lovely home. She was an outstanding ethnic cook. She found her greatest joy from her husband, her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Elwood Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her children, Paul E. Marilyn Pali, Tremonton; Cleora Rawlins, Dallas, TX; Deloris Rees Terry Mifflin, Roy; Mary Darrell Eliason, Logan; eight grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brothers Aleko Veshi, Tirane, Albania; Thomas Veshi, Korca, Albania. She was preceded in death by her husband; son-in-laws, Daniel William Rees and Frank Rawlins; granddaughter, Shauna Mae Mifflin and two sisters. The family would like to express special thanks to Doctors Bryan, Bunderson and Strong; her visiting teachers, Florence Hammer and Pat Perkins; special care givers, Michelle Jensen and Rena Kirkman; her lifetime friends Ora Thompson and Jean Frank for their love and kindness. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, with Bishop Darwin Nielsen officiating. Friends may call Sunday, May 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday, May 13th from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
