Norma Hansen Haycock

Deweyville, UT ? Our special mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Norma Hansen Haycock, passed away at her homeThursday, September 14, 2006. She was born on March 28, 1916 in Almo, ID to Christian and Susan Dewey Hansen. Norma married Warren Cooper Haycock on February 23, 1941. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1999.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many organizations but her heart was in the Relief Society where she served two times as President and was in many presidencies.
Norma loved making quilts, candy and baking. She was the owner of The Quilt Factory, a non-profit organization. She was a truly compassionate lady always thinking and caring for others. She sincerely loved her family and wanted nothing but peace in her home.
She is survived by her two daughters: Lynda H. Earl, Layton, Susan H. Brad Andrews, Kaysville; a daughter-in-law, Marci M. Lloyd Haycock, Brigham City; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sons: Paul Warren and Joseph Lloyd Haycock.
Services will be held Monday, September 18, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Riverview LDS Church, 10750 North Highway 38, Deweyville. Friends and family may call Sunday, September 17, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at Deweyville Cemetery.
