Nola Rock Norr

Deweyville - Nola Rock Norr, 85, of Deweyville, died Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton. She was born on July 3, 1919 in Brigham City, Utah the daughter of Edwin and Annie Hansen Rock. She married Charles L. Norr on March 28, 1936 in the Logan LDS Temple. Charles died on December 30, 1998. Nola was reared and educated in Deweyville and Howell. She was a member of the Deweyville LDS Ward. She has served as Primary President, Secretary in the Young Women & Sunday School, a Visiting Teacher and Supervisor. She is survived by her children - D.R. Cora Lee Norr of Tremonton, Connie Gary Christensen of Bothwell, Clyde Ruby Holt of League City, TX, and Colleen Norr of Riverside; sisters - LaPreal Collins of Brigham City, Unita Jensen of Brigham City and Winona Gerold Ballard of Tremonton; 15 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Gary R. Norr, a daughter Sonja Holt, and a granddaughter LaRae Holt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at the Riverview LDS Church, 10750 North Hwy 38, Deweyville. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, and Wednesday from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Deweyville Cemetery.
