Newel Don Andrews Grandpa Dosey, 76, passed away peacefully December 29, 2007. Don was born in Logan, Utah, on October 6, 1931 to Newel King Andrews and Orpha Marie Hancey. He lived in Logan his entire life. He served in World War II. He later married the woman he loved on July 18, 1956 in Elko Nevada. He worked on his farm all his life, not just because it was his job, but it was something he loved more than anything. He and Liz would be out there everyday making sure everything was taken care of, even when it was too hard for either of them, he wouldn't give up; it was his life. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Craig Merrill of Trenton; his 3 grandchildren Donny Melissa Merrill of Trenton, Heather Merrill and Shaun Kale of Logan, Trevor of Trenton; and one great-granddaughter, Taci Merrill of Trenton. He is also survived by his sister Lorna Aldridge of St. George, his brother-in-law Jack Judy Ford of Las Vegas; sister-in-law Bonnie Scott Anderson of Smithfield, and another sister-in-law May Mel Smith of Logan. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Liz, his son, Jesse, and his parents. Grandpa Dosey will be missed by everyone who ever met him. He was a great husband, dad, brother, and grandfather. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Jan 3, 2008, in the Willow Valley 1st Ward Chapel, 125 W. 600 North, Logan. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday January 2 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 North, Logan and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning prior to services at the church.
