On Monday, June 22, 2009, Ned was reunited with his loving parents and sister. Ned was born June 24, 1950 to James Bowers and Marie Larsen Forrester in Logan, Utah. He spent his life in Smithfield, Utah with the exception of a short stay in Logan. He was employed as a painter for USU, recently retiring after 34 years. Ned's first love was horse racing. He and his brother bought a horse together and it was love at first race. From that point on you could always find Ned at the track helping first his brother and then Jay Pitcher. Ned was an active part of the Skyline Cutter Association. He was also an avid Aggies basketball fan and could be found at the games cheering on his team. Ned was a serious season ticket holder. Never one to give into his physical limitations, always independent, he faced many challenges in his life. Ned will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Jim Forrester, Smithfield; sister, Ann & Woody Palmer, Brigham City; sister, Linda & Bob Gardner, Bothell, WA; brother, Lynn & Barbara Forrester, Tooele; brother, Thad & Shirlee Forrester, Tooele; brother, David & Theresa Forrester, Smithfield; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Barton Avery and the Summit Clinic staff for their care and kindness, over the years.
