Nancy Mae Thompson McMullin, born July 4, 1941 in Plain City, Utah, daughter of William Edward and Marvel Elda Hodson Thompson, succumbed on September 28, 2006. In peace, she has gone home to her Father in Heaven, after having endured many years of trial and failing health. Her life was a gift to her husband, children, grandchildren, and all that knew her. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and other activities, but none so much as preparing a family celebration, or making a gift for a friend or a card for a stranger whom she saw in need. Giving was her life. A dedicated mother and wife, her joy was to be surrounded by her family. They are here with her now as she has faithfully finished her fight. Nancy was sealed for time and all eternity to William Ira McMullin on April 28, 1961 in the St. George, Utah Temple. She was faithful and active in her church callings, serving from her youth in Sunday School, Primary, and the Relief Society. She also served a mission with her husband in Des Moines, Iowa beginning in October of 2000. Nancy is survived by her husband, William, two sisters, Marlene Thompson McBride and Jeanette Thompson Thomas Parkinson; one brother, William Hodson Thompson; seven children, Susanna Joseph Dabelko, Monica Keith Howick, John Michael McMullin, Melynda Allen Wolcott, Jared Mathew Jaylene McMullin, Sherrie Mae Michael Calles, and Joyce Ann Jared Grose; and fourteen grandchildren. Services will be held in her honor in the Richmond, Utah Stake Center, 136 West Main, on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing Monday, October 2nd, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Plain City, Utah Cemetery.
