Myron Jonathan Wood Fielding: Myron Jonathan Wood, 81, died January 31, 2003, at the McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. He was born January 18, 1922, in Fielding, the son of George Franklin and Maggie Richards Wood. He married Mary El Jean Rathbun on April 4, 1944, in Emporia, Kansas. Their marriage was solemnized on August 23, 1963, in the Logan LDS temple. Mary died July 30, 1999. He married Janet Gordon Adams on September 6, 2000, in the Logan Temple. Myron?s early education was in Fielding and he graduated from Bear River High School in Tremonton. He was an Army veteran serving in World War II. He lived in Southern California for a short time before returning to Fielding where he lived the remainder of his life. He enjoyed, fishing, hunting, gardening and being with his family. He was a member of the Fielding Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in many callings. He loved attending the temple where he served as an officiator. He is survived by his wife Janet of Fielding; his children, Sherrel Norman Troseth; Jody Clarinda Wood of Fielding; Roger Wood of Smithfield; Alan Sylvie Wood of Kalispel, MT; stepchildren, Jana Dee Huck Hansen of Smithfield; Douglas E. Dianne Adams of Logan, 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Rhea Fuhriman of Salt Lake and Donna Stokes of Tremonton. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; daughter, Rosemary; brothers and sisters, Isbell, Blanch, Opal, Ray, and Glen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at the Fielding LDS Stake Center, 4375 West 15600 North Fielding. Friends may call Monday, February 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Tuesday, February 4th from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Fielding Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the LDS Missionary Fund. Condolences may be extended to the family at:
