Minnie Mae Norr

July 17, 1926 — April 20, 2004

Deweyville - Minnie Mae Potter Norr, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004. She was born in Tremonton, Utah on July 17, 1926 to Leland Perry and Wilhelmina Carolina Anderson Potter. She was a graduate of Bear River High School and she married Wayne D. Norr on March 6, 1946 in Deweyville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 15, 1949. Minnie was a member of the LDS church and served as a Primary Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Primary President, MIA President and Relief Society Teacher. Surviving is her husband, two sons: Brent Wayne Norr and Bill P. Sheryl Norr both of Deweyville, five grandchildren, and three sisters: Rita Roy Taylor, Ogden; Evelyn Oleen Watt, Ogden; and Donna Ray Adams, Brigham City. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Lila Lee Kearl and Maxine Stagge. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deweyville LDS Chapel located at 10750 North Highway 69, Deweyville. Friends and family may call on Thursday, April 22, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral. We would like to express a special thanks to the IHC Hospice for their compassionate care of our wife and mother. Interment will be held at the Deweyville Cemetery.
