Millicent Daines Wells

Millicent, age 82, of Salt Lake City, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 having relocated last year to Virginia for specialized care. She was the first child born to Orson and Minnie Daines of Ogden, Utah and eldest sister to Helen, Sanford, Lynn and Claire. She is survived by her four children: Eric Billie Wells, Rex Martha Wells, Jane Crowley and Brent Rhonda Wells, 10 grandchildren: Becket, Darci, Etta, Kyle, Jake, Cassie, Rory, Roxanne, Holly and Brendan; and one great-grandchild, Joshua. In addition to Millicent's loving devotion to her family and studious endeavors in fiber art, let it be shared that Mom's lifelong spiritual refuge was sustained in the outdoors and the beauty of nature, especially the Rocky Mountains. A memorial service will be held in Cache Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009 in the Smithfield City Cemetery, located at 300 East Center Street, Smithfield, Utah. Instead of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in memory of Millicent Wells to Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City, 801585-3813.
